Meet the Blogger

Not sure if you guys know this but, there is actually only one woman behind Spotted Moth. From the beginning, Monica has run almost every facet of the business entirely on her own (she had professionals design the website, html is not her forte).

Only in the past few months has she hired on her first employee, our talented photographer Maile.
But now, with our first retail space opening in just a few short weeks, Monica has found herself so busy that she had no choice but to finally delegate a few tasks. Not so easy for a self proclaimed control freak!
As such, I, Monica's little sister will officially be taking over the blog!

That's me! ^ I'm so excited for this opportunity and would love for you guys to let me know what kinds of things you want to see on here so I can make the blog even more fun for you to read. I'm thrilled to join the Spotted Moth team!

Meet Lauren Frost

We're thrilled to feature the lovely and talented Lauren Frost as our model for the month of July! Lauren is a singer/songwriter from Chicago whose debut album "Words for the Birds" is now available-- she is giving Spotted Moth shoppers the opportunity to listen to and download a few of her songs for free!

This petite songbird has quite an interesting resume, as she's been involved in singing and acting for the majority of her life. Most memorable are her performances as Ruby on Disney's Even Stevens (do you miss that show as much as we do?!) and as the young Barbra Streisand- alongside Barbra herself- for the stage tour "Timeless."

Lauren's voice is uniquely beautiful and pure, and her lyrics are just as sweet. Her music sounds like drinking lemonade on the porch in the summertime (which is why she made the perfect July model!).
Make sure to stop by Spotted Moth this month to download "One & One," "The August," (our favorite!) and "Back in Arizona."

It was such a pleasure working with Lauren and her boyfriend/bandmate Ashton on this shoot. Ashton even helped us carry our heavier photoshoot props! We love helpful boyfriends!
